Picket Fence - Ditmas Park/Flatbush

The bartender in Cornerstone told me she never heard of Ditmas park till now and its all Flatbush to her...so whatever you call it... I tried Picket Fence last night on Cortelyou Rd and it was very good.

We sat in the back garden which is quite cute. Tables were full in the back, a few inside were taken as well - def a kid friendly place, but there was a mixture of seniors, 20 somethings & young families.

I had the spinach salad (minus the bacon) which was good, but too much dressing for my taste, and the sweet potato fries which were yummy. My boyfriend had steak with onion rings & gorgonzola sauce and he was quite happy with all of it ( and he's picky). For dessert I tried the chocolate bread pudding which was rich and cocao-y, real whipped cream too, a bit sweet but good.

Over all I'll be back, esp. to try the brunch menu!
