We're coming up for a weekend from Boston, and very much looking forward to completely stuffing ourselves with an emphasis on quebecois cuisine. Local, seasonal, charming and low-key preferred. We're more interesting in quality of food and service, less focused on 5-star white tablecloth experiences or a scene.
As such, we're gravitating to some of the more neighborhoody restaurants we've seen mentioned (and raved about) here.
We are doing Au Pied de Cochon Sunday night for our theater. For Friday and Saturday, trying to decide between Anise, Le Chasse et Peche and La Montee de Lait. Any strong leanings either way?
During the day we plan to hit the JT market, St. Viateur, Schwartz, Olive et Gourmando. Also, a friend mentioned a breakfast place in Plateau, called Tu et Moi? Anyone know if it - good? Address?
