I ate at Piccolo Paradiso last night and had a decidedly mediocre meal. In fact, the desserts were less than mediocre--lemon mousse without any character whatsoever and, then, in a vain attempt to redeem the situation, nearly inedible cookies.
But that is not my point. Are prices in the Drago group going up? It seemed to me that the entrees, salads, and desserts were all about what they would be at places with far better cooking, like Luques and Angelini. My friend, who had just eaten at Tanino's, said the same about the menu there. Or is this suddenly a trend everywere?
