Pho Long @ Fremont

This place looks like the typical pho place, at the corner of Ranch 99 market complex. There are actually couple of pho place here.

Pho with shrimp and pork (both minced) and tofu in a red coloured broth: This is not your typical clear pho. There are tomatoes and on the side is the typical vegetables except it has finely shredded celery stalk. The broth probably has some crab paste and shrimp paste. Quite tasty and I like it a lot. I seldom see this dish and it is a winner IMO.

Pho combo has the typical rare steak, tripe and fatty briskets. A side of sprouts and leaves as usual. It is good although nothing spectacular IMO.

Rice combo pork chop, shredded pork, rectangular egg mixed with stir fried bean threads underneath. A nice bowl of soup and vinegar sauced. This is good but nothing spectacular.
