I've made pesto often enought that I no longer bother looking at a recipe, but this was a first.
Picked the basil from my own deck (first time this year), and when finished, the pesto had very little basil taste, and it turned brown within minutes! I wish I could remember what the plant at the garden center said (I assume there are different types of basil?) Is the problem the type of basil? or something else? I don't want to eat this again!
