Peking House! Great Chinese in Queens!! LONG!

I like to have Chinese food on Sunday nights. I live in Forest Hills which is TOTAALY lacking in even GOOD or MODERATELY GOOD Chinese. I'm looking for somethng in te evein of Charlie Mom in Manhattan; somewhere clean and pleasant atmosphere-wise. I do not like the super-authentic Chinese food at Ping's or other Fluishing places. I want good Chicken with Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, good moo-shu, steamed veggie dumplings, etc. Well, I finally found it!

Peking House at 185-23 Union Turnpike; about 1/2 mile away from St. John's U. I guess the neighborhood would be considered Holliswood or Hillcrest? If you have a car, (or are willing to take a bus along Union Tpke), it is REALLY worth it. The atmosphere is LOVELY. Very much like a Charlie Mom or Hunan Szechuan in Manhattan. And the food! I got take out: (they do not deliver) the following: Steamed vegetable dumplings, moo-shu vegetable, chicken with broccoli in Garlic sauce, steamed mixed veggies, cold sesame noodles. Every single item was positively succulent and delicious. I cannot reccomend this place highly enough. Run don't walk: Peking House, 185 Union Turnpike, Flushing NY 11366
