I have a fabulous recipe for PB cookies, but it calls for commercial PB, specifically stating "DO NOT use natural PB." I only use natural PB, and I only buy the fake stuff (Skippy, Jiff and the like) when I need it for making cookies. My husband and I avoid all food items containing partially hydrogenated oils, which the Skippy-type PBs all contain. I would like to be able to adapt my recipe or find a new one so I can accommodate natural PB.
Are there any recipes out there that use it, or is the issue of the oils separating not conducive to making a good cookie?
