Pastry At Il Buco on Bond St.

wewwew | Jan 11, 201512:36 PM     1

In the past I have praised the Bombolini here. They were out this last frigid saturday when I sought the warmth of a coffee and something nice strongly influenced by a heating system. I had in place of the Bombolini what could be thought of as a chocolate orange morning bun. This was another winner. A note of restraint: some baked items here are first rate, some less so, but for a place to regroup and have a lunch substitute or early afternoon snack Il Buco is just right, spot on, pitch perfect (cue Yul Brynner) etc.etc. etc.
