The new Paris Baguette on Western may be my find of the year!

So much for New Year's Resolutions...this place is fantastic. I stopped there yesterday morning. I saw no baguettes but maybe they trot them out later in the day. What I did find was an incredible abundance of pastry which you serve and box yourself. I had a cream and raisin croissant which was crisp and buttery and not at all greasy. It seems they use good quality butter and that they know what to do with it. They had pain a chocolat, lots of fruit filled things, a large variety of croissants and some sausage rolls. Truly the motherlode. There was also a display case with some exquisite decorated cakes which I'll keep in mind for the next birthday on the list. There isn't a lot of English spoken but the large staff was cheerful and helpful. They serve some sort of "organic" coffee. It was flavored and really icky but, go for the pastry.
