Paleteria Linda Michoacan-Santa Maria

kaki3152 | Aug 23, 200702:23 PM     9

In this weeks' LA times, thee was a great article on Mexican paleterias, which are Mexican ice cream/sorbet shops. After I read the article, I felt compelled to go to the only paleteria I know in Santa Maria, Paleteria Linda Michoacan which is located in the Stowell shopping center.
I tried two paletas, one being nance, which is small yellowish berry found in South/Central America and the other being guayaba. Both were delicious, though I prefered the nance. There are over thirty flavors and the paletas are only $1.25 each. I guess I'll have to work my way down the list to see which ones I prefer. Its a tough job but someone has to do it.
