A recently arrived Indonesian acquaintance swears by Padang Jaya, to the point where she takes the subway (with an inconvenient train change) there several times a week, and she walks past Warteg Fortuna in Woodside to catch her train. (She's from West Sumatra, so perhaps she doesn't like Warteg's Java-style food, I don't know Padang Jaya's style.)
Any opinions on Padang Jaya (my search of CH for Pandang Jaya didn't turn up much)?
I haven't eaten there yet, but a recon walk-by showed it to be a takeout-style hole-in-the-wall, with meals (before desert/drinks (no alcohol)) $6-$9, most around $7.
