i was shipped a TON of goodies yesterday from rome by volpetti; they arrived today at my doorstep in london.
man, the mozarella, the mozarella ... the green, thick olive oil with a peppery finish that rings on in my mouth as long as a grand cru, the fennel salami as clean as a whistle, and look here are a bunch of salamis to try and then all the dozen cheeses i'm supposed to store in the fridge for at least a day before opening.
ok, i might as well admit it. i'm blessed and its good to be alive. now if i could only solve that dratted crema problem.
