Owen O'Leary's Wild Game Feast

AlanH | Nov 18, 2003 08:08 AM

Owen O'Leary's Natick location is doing their annual Wild Game Feast tonight and tomorrow night. I don't know if the other locations are on the same schedule.
$19.99 gets choice of app, soup or salad, and choice of entree. I have been the past two years, and while it isn't fine dining, it is certainly worthwhile for the novelty alone, plus the beer is good.

Smoked Pheasant Livers wrapped in bacon w. Cognac cream sauce and toasted pistachios

Assorted Grilled Sausages w. beer bread crustini and drunken goat cheese dip

Soup or Salad:

Goat Soup with roasted root vegetables

Heart of Palm w roasted beets, grilled rock shrimp, & poached quail eggw pomegranate vinaigrette

Bouillabaisse of green New Zealand Mussels, whole prawns, perriwinkles, & baby octopus served on a scallop shell

Five peppercorn antelope w a port wine sauce

Boar and llama cassoulet. a slow cooked assortment of beans, bacon, boar, boar sausage, and llama

Truffle and rabbit ravioli w sage pasta in a chestnut sauce.
