I'm looking to select a few sides for a party I'm throwing. The main course is a tuscan pork roast and pasta with citrus cream sauce. I was thinking green beans, but am a big fan of things that can go in the oven and I don't have to fuss over (since I'll be fussing over the pasta and cream sauce). Have you ever done green beans in the oven and find that they work well? I've only ever steamed/boiled them.
My other sides include a mushroom & chestnuts dish, as well as potatoes and sundried tomatoes (maybe - still thinking on that one).
