Outback Steakhouse Niagara Falls - Fine Dinning Price, Fast Food Quality, Street Vendors Service

My husband and I were planning to go to Montreal for a few days after Christmas, but deal to the nonstop weather changes, we decided to go to Niagara Falls for a day getaway.
Yes, I know you guys would say "Outback Steakhouse"?? Don't ask, somehow I missed the super oily blooming Onion. We used to go to the one in Whitby, which had pretty good food and awesome service. And after they closed down all the restaurants in Canada except the locations in Edmonton, I thought, there goes the blooming onion and honey wheat Bushman bread, then I found out that they have a location in Niagara Falls, we had to drop by. What a big mistake that was, I don't know if the server/bartender really didn't want to work yesterday, I got the kind service from this guy the same as the one you can easily get from China Town. May be because we didn't drink? I don't know.
We ordered a Blooming Onion($12), a daily soup($4), a cocktail shrimp($10 - 6pcs(16/20)) and Alice springs chicken($25 - which is a butterflied pan-fried 6oz chicken breast topped with Tex Mex cheese, sliced mushroom, bacon bits and served with a honey Dijonaise), when I saw the menu, things are twice the price, some even more than before (different restaurant same chain), I almost fell off the chair.
I got a "Tourist Map" of Niagara Falls, saw the coupon from them saying "free gift", I am like, well, this is the only one left "closer" to me, I am getting a gift from them with the Outback Steakhouse logo on it. I left the coupon on the table when we got there, our "super nice" server walked by couple times, looked at it and walked away, maybe he didn't see it. I handed it to him, he said "oh" then walked away. After we asked for our bill, he came back, threw a plastic blow up beach ball with Outback on the table, thank you, at least I got something good out of this over priced fast food meals.
We tried to go to Rest To Go Go for some lunch sandwiches this afternoon, got there ten to eleven, noticed it opens at eleven, walked across to Willows Cakes & Pastries, love the nice colourful Full display, but winter time+Tuesday+Niagara on the Lake+full display, = not so fresh, I could see that it must be much busier in the summer. We got the New York Cheesecake, raspberry mousse and some butter tarts, very good flavour with a little taste of refrigerator "to Go"
Walked back to the car and waited for Rest To Go Go to open, eleven fifteen, open sign not on, then I walked over to the door, saw people walking back and forth the kitchen and the counter, eleven thirty, open sign still not "open", I am done waiting, and start driving.
We finally decided to go to Sea Hi, knew that restaurant has been there forever, drove by millions of times, saw it on tvs and movies, but never even been there. The owners couple are very nice, we ordered one lunch combo, egg roll, spring roll, wonton soup and a Cantonese chow mein, food is good "a little under salted for my taste" but the bill is even better, $27 with 1/2 of my noodles take home.
What a trip, but this is what adventure is all about :)
