Otaez taqueria

Hungry Hippo | May 14, 2006 01:16 PM

I finally had a chance to stop at the taqueria at Otaez on Friday. It was delicious. I had the tongue, pastor, carne asada, and chorizo; they were all excellent. Especially, the tongue, which was meltingly tender. We split a torta, which is full of some of the best carnitas I've ever had. The fat from the meat saturates the roasted bun and makes the whole thing wet and juicy, especially with the generous amount of crema that was added. Best of all was the unbelievable price: tacos are $1.25 and the torta is $5 and beer is $2.50 a bottle, the two of us absolutely stuffed ourselves with food and Corona for about $20.
