Osaka Kitchen - Japanese - San Diego

Wendy-san | Jan 12, 200307:19 PM

On our first trip to SD, we had dinner at Osaka Kitchen. The restaurant serves mainly westernized Japanese food that is not easy to find, at least in the SF Bay Area, where we are from. The only place I know of is On the Bridge in San Francisco's Japantown.

Anyway, Osaka Kitchen is next to a Denny's and looks like a kind of fast food place but the food is authentic and well made. I had beef butter yaki (sliced beef sauteed in butter) and my husband had Japanese style hamburger. They also serve stuff like croquettes, meatloaf, donburi, etc. My husband is from Osaka and gave the place his blessing (smile).
