On a tip from Chowhound, we tried Havana's Cuban Restaurant - it was terriffic. Ok atmosphere, they serve beer, very friendly and gracious staff, and the food was excellent.
Entrees were about $10-23.

Also tried Landry's Seafood - looked like a chain - it was - but it was good and they had a playground outside for children to play in while you waited for a table. Chilean sea bass was done to perfection, staff was attentive, drinks were good. Pass on signature dessert- banana's foster - it is not the real thing- instead - it is ice cream wrapped in a crepe with bananas and some chocolate and caramel - fake whipped cream. Otherwise, it is a reasonably priced decent place for seafood.
