Original Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe from the 60s

DebWedge | Mar 30, 202011:16 AM     9

A while back, I saw a discussion somewhere (thought it was here but maybe not since I can't find it), about where to find an original recipe from the 1960s for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. I think originally it was either on the Quaker Oats box or the Nestle chocolate chips bag. Evidently the one that is currently posted online is not the real original recipe, even though it says it is, or something to that effect. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I'm looking for a recipe from the 60's that my grandmother used to make. The cookies were almost macaroon-shaped, not flat. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
