Oriental Manor = Hollywood East

Just a heads up,

The cook from Hollywood East has apparently moved to Oriental Manor. Oriental Manor is next to the Goodyear tires in Chatham Station on Baltimore National Pike. A friend told me Oriental Manor used to be a very second-rate place. Last night, it was crowded, with a heavily Chinese clientele. There was a sign outside saying "Grand Reopening." They appear to print coupons in Chinese-language newspapers [I don't know what the coupon offers].

Black bean squid, crispy spicy salt pork, and a tofu with assorted meat & seafood hot pot were all quite tasty, although I thought the chicken in spicy garlic sauce was a bit thick.

I never ate at Hollywood East, although I saw & heard favorable reviews. My friends were curious about the rejuvenation of the restaurant, and obtained the above report.
