I love Chowhound! If not for y'all, I would not have found this place. What a great dinner. We walked in to the inviting storefront and were warmly greeted and seated immediately. We ordered the fava beans with chorizo and the little necks with garlic and wine to start. Both were wonderfully seasoned and plentiful. We got the bottle of Joao Pires muscat ($25) which tasted great to start but even better paired with each bite. My husband got the seafood and rice dish which was chockful of seafood and quite good in a nice broth. My salt cod over fried potatoes topped with onions, garlic and peppers was even better. I just loved it but had a hard time finishing the large serving (enough for two). All of that came to about $85. The service and atmosphere were lovely. We skipped the coffee and dessert because I wanted to make it to Christina's before closing (again a chowhound destination and I love walking in that area to see where we are eating next). The burnt sugar was all that was promised and the ginger molasses tasted liked I had hoped my Christmas cookies would. We got the peanut butter for the babysitter and she seemed quite pleased. Thanks to you all for a great night out.
