Sorry if this has beeh discussed, but it hasn't caught my attention until the review of Maricia in today's Contra Costa Times (link below).
Christopher Cheung, who I think started Christopher's Cafe and owns Christopher's Burgers opened this Asian influenced Seafood house.
This sounded good from the review below:
"The freshness pays off in Cheung's Chile Crab special ($9). Cheung cracks and marinates raw legs in jalapeno and spice, then roasts them in a 500-degree oven with lots of salt and butter. A handful of avocado salsa is the final touch"
Another reference to galangal. Never heard of this ginger like root before and it seems there isn't a menu that doesn't have it.
Anyway, anyone tried this place or any past posts? Search turned up zilch.
