Okay, so it took forever for the waiter to take our order, but what a perfect place for lunch while watching the snow outside today.

I ordered the lobster roll - HUGE on a buttered and toasted brioche roll with greens and a mignonette dressing. (Okay, so I'm ol' school and slathered on a bit of mayo anyway as I thought the dressing was a bit too strong for the delicate lobster flavor.) Comes with a pickle spear and fries or slaw for $22.

Friend had the kobe burger (another MONSTER) that she said was awesome. Dripping with juices, cooked as asked, delish. Fries and a pickle, $14.

Add a couple of extra strong spicy Ketel One bloody mary's ($8) and what an afternoon!

So glad I finally made it in there. It's a fun room, kind of feels like time-travel dress up. And how refreshing to have good food at a very good value in a hotel restaurant, where so often (the world over) the norm tends to be bad food at a high premium followed by lots of buyer's remorse. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in the mood.
