NY Hound's trip to DC(longish)

So I followed some recs from this board, some from my concierge, and 2 places we just wandered into-
First night, wandered around Dupont-
Tried Kramer's first-great beer selection, but the table we were sat at had soup or something spilled under it-we moved, and apparently made the waitress hate us b/c she was really unfriendly-Left, and went to Tomate(sp?)-not bad, not great, not really anything.
Next day hit CF Folks-had a great pulled pork Sandwich for lunch-place could use a good cleaning, though.
Dinner was at Bistro Bis-Had a delicious steak and frites, with a bearnaise sauce.
Dinner the next night was at Mendocino in Georgetown-hands down favorite place of all-Nice cheese selection, and a well thought out wine list.
Started with the house sald-in my opinion, a good green salad is hard to find-this one was perfect-nice red wine vinaigrette, crisp greens, cukes, and carrots.
Dinner was the gnocchi, with squash foam, oven dried tomatoes, mushrooms, butternut squash-yum! My partner had their Wagyu burger with cabernet onions and parmesan fries-Fantastic!
Skipped dessert for a piece of cardamom coffee cake from Baked and Wired-also brought home a bag of BBQ dog biscuits from there which are driving my dogs wild!
