On Monday, I am tasked with bringing the morning snack to my son's preschool class. The only rule is....it can't be sweets. I've been racking my brain with very few results! I'm set on bringing a big bowl of stawberries since they're my son's favorites. But what else that would be festive, yet nutritous for a bunch of 4 year olds?
I need to have a couple of menu items for them. I was thinking about some sort pink yogurt dip for the berries. Or maybe little tea sandwiches made from white bread and spread with strawberry cream cheese or jam, then cut into a heart shape with a big cookie cutter? I'd love to think of something clever....or red! Thanks for brain-storming along with me.
