I've read on these boards about Nutritional Yeast used as a topping for snacks like popcorn. I have never used this stuff nor brewer's yeast.
For some reason on my quest to make malted flavored smoothies I purchased some of each from the bulk bins at the healthfood store. Now I don't know what to do with them to make tasty beverages if this is possible at all.
I usually make soy/whey smoothies with frozen bananas, soy milk, and whey protein powder. How much should I throw in? Do they taste good on their own? Are they truly healthy or have their health benefits fallen out of favor?
