November trip with 13-year-old

lkgilbert | Nov 1, 201601:17 PM     4

I'm visiting NO with my teenage son for 5 nights in mid-November (my first visit in 15 years). Staying at the Intercontinental and hoping to walk everywhere. His number one request is a crawfish boil; can anyone suggest a spot that won't be uber-touristy? We'd also love recommendations for any must dos for breakfast, or for any meal, really. He's an adventurous TASTER, but not always a reliable finisher, so I don't want to make reservations at the hot spots — I'd love some local knowledge about how to eat well while still keeping to our somewhat touristy agenda of French Quarter/WW2 Museum, etc. Thanks in advance for any gems =)
