Normans and Le Bon

Jonathan | Jan 9, 2006 07:44 AM

Looking for the ulimate Miami dining experience and our concierge recommended Normans - the originator of "Floribean" cusine? Not sure if the concierge can be trusted. Looked through past posts, weren't too helpful. Any comments on Normans?

Will be going to Cacao tonight based on some recs on this list.

Last night went to Le Bon on Lincoln Road in South Beach for the "Beat the Clock" mussels and fries. It was absolutely outstanding - we split three different buckets (each has a different broth - all were great) but also ordered an asparagus appetizer with black forest ham and crab meat that cost $16 and was bland and uninspired.

All in all though it was really great.
