Norco... mexican

Yes, I know that I am the only person who has been to, or ever will be in Norco, but nonetheless, in the off chance someone finds that they need to be there, I thought I'd offer another recommendation. I was only there for a day, visiting the fam while in the state, but had a great lunch at a mexican place.

The place is on River Road, in the same strip mall as Stater Bros. It is called - I think - rancho mexican tacos... or something to that effect. Excellent tacos there. I had carnitas and carne asada. You can have the tacos fried or normal... I actually preferred the fried. The carnitas were properly moist and crisped. The carne asada had good flavor and wasn't too chewy, as it can often be. They cater to both mexican and gringo clientele, so they offer things like cheese on tacos, etc. But if you order without, you get a great taco that is the real deal. They have all the normal fillings... lengua, cabeza, pollo, carnitas, carne asada, etc.

So, if you ever find yourself lost in Norco...
