nonya: malaysian cuisine

tues recap:
great dinner at nonya (malayasian cuisine in the heart of old pas). got a great space, high ceilinged and beautifully decorated. i'm pretty whatever about decor, but this is pretty special. good soundtrack too: jazz, dido, zero7, among others.

appetizer: steamed oysters (very large, with light flavorings)
entree: sole with coconut flavors in clay pot
dessert: mango sago pudding

companions had lamb with asparagus, duck with plum sauce, coconut custard creme brulee, toffee banana with sesame seeds, sauteed veggie delight.

noticed a lychee martini, i'm going back for that one. on sun, mon, tues nites they had a 20 deal for appetizer, entree and dessert. so i got a 35 dollar dinner for 20 bucks. not bad. my only caveat: too many items on the menu, and i question how many choices there are for vegetarians. that's it folks. for old pas, i'm very pleasantly suprised.
