My mom's 60th birthday is coming up later this month, and I have been charged with finding a restaurant for the festivities. She has specifically requested greek food. I know the greek restaurant scene here is not especially strong, but I'm hoping to find something that will at least be enjoyable (my family likes good food but are not what I would call chowhounds). My initial thought is Christos at the St. Paul depot-- cool atmosphere, and I've heard the food is decent. Or is there some other place that I'm not thinking of that has pretty good greek food and a nice atmosphere (a gyro joint won't cut it for a b-day)? St. Paul or inner ring suburbs would be preferred. Help, chowhounds!
