I found several references to Mo's here but all buried in larger threads, so I thought I'd start a MO's thread. I stopped there for lunch yesterday on a drive up 101. I wanted a brisket sandwich but they didn't have brisket; they said their beef was chuck. They describe their beef and pork sandwiches as "shredded", so I got a shredded beef sandwich. Good size, good cole slaw, good value at $8.45. Was it good barbecue? Not to me, probably because "shredded" just doesn't do it for me; I like beef sliced and pork "pulled", but shredded is much smaller pieces even than pulled. Also, I didn't detect much flavor except for the sauce. As an aside, their map showing the route the owner took across the country researching barbecue shows that Texas, home of bbq brisket, was not included. What do others think about this place?
