Been looking for a mortar and pestle for various jobs, one that applies well for various cuisines, I have a warrior molcajete that I got in Mexico that is well seasoned (Used mainly for salsas) but I am looking for one that is non porous. I am open to materials and varieties.... I do spices and pastes for Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Thai with the occasional Japanese.
marble, granite or ceramic?
Also, what is the best size in you opinion?
I would appreciate sources to find them in the USA if you have them..
