Pregnancy inspires strange cravings. This week, I am yearning for big, fluffy biscuits, the kind that are brown and bumpy on top and so moist on the inside that they gum up the back of your mouth. If you've ever been to Lucille's, the Creole restaurant in Boulder/Longmont/Denver, CO, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

This morning, I'm making a run to Hoover's to pick up a few to munch while I dissertate. Does anyone else have other suggestions? I'm not interested in driving to Round Rock (i.e., Dot's) or Georgetown (Monument ) -- yes, I've done a seach for "biscuits" on this board -- something within the Austin city limits would be ace. Bonus points for the availability of homemade or at least decent jam, not that berry-flavored high fructose corn syrup served up in wee plastic tubs.

I and the fetus thank you in advance!
