i've gotten myself back into a tamale habit lately. anyone else enjoy the tamales at SUCELT? they have a nice variety and i have been picking up some up after work. i order one or two cold to go and heat them up at home. i like the venezuelan and columbian styles. lots of corn masa(?), chorizo, pork, whole olives and other goodies inside. very filling and it makes our place smell good when i steam them up at home.
SUCELT usually also has a wide variety of tasty empanadas too. just poke your head inside to inspect if you see some in the window, they're great for grabbing and walking around with as a snack (along with a fresh batido). SUCELT is on the sw corner of 14th street at 7th avenue.
