We just got back from Trappe, MD, south of Easton right off of 50 on the Eastern Shore. We were visiting a friend and went to Mitchum's Steakhouse. We started off with a smorgasbord of appetizers including a delicious duck with blood orange marmalade, shrimp and grits with andouille sausage and the most incredible oysters stuffed with jumbo lump crab. This would have been enough to satisfy and delight our group but we continued on with a nice salad topped off with a not often seen cowboy cut of steak and rockfish that melted in your mouth. The space is wide open with ample seating and a beautiful wood bar. The clean decor and friendly staff made this a place we'll visit any time we're trekking across Route 50. Top notch through and through.
