I just read this NY Times article: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/28/din.... This looks so cool. I've dug around online and it looks like the only people selling the fruit are in Florida (and Asia).
Anyone in L.A. / O.C familiar with these? I'd love to try it. I'd go in with some other people to get together and order/try it.
When I was watching Top Chef last night I thought it would be great sabotage for a chef to lace their dish with this so that the dishes that come after them are all screwed up. They'd probably be caught pretty quickly.
