Milan: Alimentari (or food shopping)

miss_anthrope | Sep 11, 201702:50 PM     3

I'll be in milan later this week and looking for a place to do some shopping for non-mass market food-stuffs. Some will be for consumption for a dinner while there and some will be for sneaking home. In addition to the parmigiano reggiano, maybe some olive oil, honey, etc.

Peck and/or Eataly are not what i'm interested in, i'd prefer smaller shops or markets for shopping. I believe i'll have time on Wed-Fri so unfortunately any weekend markets are ruled out

I posted this a few years back and it was helpful, and now looking to see if there are any additional thoughts

if it's helpful, i'm staying near porta venezia, but willing to travel

Thanks!!!
