middle eastern pastries at chowhound social - the skinny please

tigerwoman | Jul 26, 200209:36 PM     2

Among all the posts I think this one got lost
but a nice man brought a tray of assorted small middle eastern pastries (which I helped cut up into even smaller bites) and I forgot to take a card. Could the person please post where they were from, general price range and location details. I think it was Astoria but not sure.

Thanks
tigerwoman

P.S. My 13 year old chowpup says he is willing to cut up the young coconut to make the raw pad thai - I cann't wait to eat that again. Now where to get the young coconut - Chinatown Flushing?? any leads?
