Michael Pollan's "Cooked" on Netflix

I was "Pollanized" when "Omnivore's Dilema" was published years ago and have read everything Pollan has published since. Bur reading is one thing and seeing it brought to life on screen is a totally different experience. The first episode "Fire" is not for vegetarians, but the images about meat and fire will remain indellibly etched in your brain and it's well done (ahem). Pollan, of course, advocates eating meat within limits.

"Cooked" is nicely produced with much of the first episode based on the aboriginal people in Western Australia and their culture of fire which alone is worth watching.

I hope they make another season based on Pollan's food philosophy.
