Mi Pilon, Norcross (Atlanta)

Milt | Mar 14, 2003 08:39 PM

Last Sunday we had our noon meal at Mi Pilon,a Dominican restaurant, which is on Buford Highway just south of Mitchell Road about a quarter mile north of I-285. The food was fantastic. My wife had beef, rice (not white), sweet plantains and water. I had goat, the same rice and plantains and freshly made lemonade (referred to as lemon juice by the proprietress). Several other dishes to choose from on future visits include, pork, chicken, tripe and ox tail. Yuca is available rather than the plantains, if you prefer them. Very pleasant atmosphere, and in my opinion, a cut above Santo Domingo - which I also enjoy very much.
