Mexican Pan Dulce at the Grocery next to Poblano -- Jackson Heights

I've never really been a fan of Mexican pan dulce. Maybe it's because most of the stuff I've had in the past (in LA or the bay area) have been stuff that was so dry after sitting around for a while. Well, today, while I was shopping at the grocery (I don't recall the name, sorry) next to Poblano restaurant on Roosevelt at 75th, there were several trays of pan dulce coming out of the oven from the back and placed on cooling racks in the front of the store. After feeling the bottom of the sheet pans to find the warmest, freshest items, I chose a couple thing randomly. There are trays and tongs at the register counter which you use to take your selection of pastries. Surprisingly enough, I liked these a lot. I ate these still warm and moist, unlike the others I've had in the past. I'm sure to make rounds around the grocery when I'm in the neighborhood to see what's coming out of the ovens.
