menu pairings

newmarket2 | Dec 6, 201412:12 PM     14

I have no trouble finding recipes - thousands of them - online.
But, I often find myself with one of two problems:
1. when I buy something for a recipe, and it's not something I use frequently and I've got a lot left over - I have trouble finding other ways of using it up. Example: a recipe calls for some sprigs of parsley, but I get a whole bunch at the supermarket, and am left with 90% of the bunch.
2. I've made something like pork chops, but don't normally eat them so I don't know what to pair them with for the meal.

Are there web sites that would help with either of these problems?
