Memorable Sunday lunch in Portland area?

Jack P. | Jan 29, 200512:13 AM     5

I'm visiting Portland for the first time around lunchtime this Sunday. I want to visit Powell's City of Books, and besides that, I'd like to eat a nice lunch at a uniquely Portland restaurant.

Any suggestions? Based on web research, I'm thinking of "Dan & Louis Oyster Bar", or "Park Kitchen", or possibly "The Heathman" or "Piazza Italia".

Park Kitchen sounds like a favorite on this board. Am I right? Will it be super crowded with a brunch crowd at noon on Sunday? What about 1 pm?

(I generally like good food at low prices, and am not as interested in decor. I will be informally dressed, party of three. I have a car. In Seattle, my favorite restaurants are "Toyoda Sushi", "Matt's in the Market", "Harvest Vine", "Elliot's Oyster House", "Salumi's", and "Cafe Campangia", if that helps.)
