I'm going away for a few days and I want to clear out fridge. Tonight, I'm making a huge salad with basically everything perishable in my fridge. Although I have some proscioutto, I want some more meat (or chicken) that I'd be willing to purchase/cook that wiould go well with the following (I'm thinking roast beef, fyi) Here's what's going in salad so far:
Fresh (not so fresh anymore) mozzarella
Red Onion (optional)
What should I add?? Should I just grill chicken breast? Should I buy quarter pound roast beef and cut it up?
Any interesting ideas?
