Maze or the Square?

AJLieb | Dec 22, 2005 11:28 AM

Going to London in February and choosing between the Square and Maze for dinner on a Saturday night (going to J Sheekey Friday after theatre and the Wolseley on Sunday). We've been to the Square in the past and enjoyed it very much, but am intrigued by the opportunity to try Gordon Ramsey's empire in a somewhat less formal setting. From what I've read the menu sounds like an upscale version of the Modern barroom in NYC. Is that a fair evaluation? Any comparisons would be greatly appreciated, as well as alternative suggestions (I thought about Launceston Place, but it didn't seem in the same league...)
