That's "Massachusettes", not, alas, "masses" of Armenians (who do some of my favorite cooking).

I'm recounting an email here (from an Armenian woman); no idea if this information is true or timely, so caveat eater. Here goes:

There is only one Armenian restaurant in these parts and that is in Newton called the Karoum I believe. I went once and was overrated and overpriced.

The shops in Watertown where I grew up have great food. Massis bakery has the best lahmejun and armenian cracker bread is similar to matzo.
