mary chung's suan la chow show

Wow! Those babies back a punch! I have been on a dumpling kick for a while, usually sating myself with Wang's vegetarian leek and spinach, but today I ventured to Mary Chung's to check out the Suan La Chow Show dumplings. Those were great! I got mine to go, so they came in a soup container, 6 huge dumplings soaking in a firey concotion of (my guess) soy, vinegar, TONS OF PEPPERCORNS, bean sprouts, and other good stuffs. These were great! The noodle covering was soft and the filling was very ample. I also liked that there was extra noodle hanging around the sides of the filling. The filling itself was meat, I assume pork. I don't know if you can get them veggie but they were great as is, and I'm not a huge pork fan. I loved the spicey kick and burst of flavor, which I sometimes feel is lacking at Wang's. And I do mean spicy- whoa! I will definitely be getting these again, they were 5 bucks and worth it.
