My question - Does anyone know the name of this restaurant, or the street that the market was on?
Two years ago when visiting DC we ate at a restaurant/deli/bistro on the corner of a street where there was also a farmer's & flea market. This was on a Sat. There were street musicians, artisians, etc. in the mix. The "Market" area covered about two-three blocks and the street was closed off from vehicle traffic. There was an area for venders within a fenced in area, that was across the street from the restaurant. The restaurant was on the corner of this side street and a main street. I believe there was another restaurant there also, just behind it. The one we ate at is supposedly famous for Omlets, and fancy dessert items available for take out. I would love to go back there when we come for the Cherry Blossom time. I had the most delicious Ceasar salad there!
