Marin - The Spanish Table opens in Mill Valley (Strawberry Village)

They opened yesterday around the corner from Safeway.

It is a smaller store than Berkeley, but being new nicer and a bit more organized.

Great selection of Spanish and Portuguese wine. There was a nice vihno verde that tempted me, but it was the wrong season for it for me.

They have the cookware, chocolates, canned goods, cookbooks, etc. They even had a few items that I haven't seen in Berkeley. With my unending sardine quest, I know Berkeley doesn't carry Matiz Gallego sardines.

They won't have cheese, meat and other items that need refrigeration for about another two weeks. They need to have the board of health give them the permit that says refrigerated items are being kept at the correct temperature.

Nice store. If you've never been to Spanish Table and live in Marin, I highly recommend checking it out.
